Even though the amount of television viewing has not declined over the six year period since the last study,
the audience is becoming less positive about television. A growing number feel increasing dissatisfaction.
Although people continue to watch as much, even a little more than they did in the mid-70s,
they tend to rate television as less important in their lives, less entertaining, and less of a technical marvel.
