People have these, you know, these perceptions, these assumptions and, you know, they call them preferences, but, you know, I didn't choose to be black, but a lot of people seemed to reject me based on the colour of my skin. And I'm sure a lot of people can relate to that.
Those that have preferences around disability, they'll often say to me, well, I don't do wheelchairs, and I know, so I'm not going to do this. So it's just a preference. Sorry. I prefer somebody more able.
I don't know if I stand out or anything. I feel like I look pretty plain. You're young, you're skinny, you're white, and there's not a lot of, I guess, depth to what people see you as.
People see pictures of me and they assume that I'm this masculine person, you know, because they haven't heard me speak, they don't know my mannerisms. They seem a little disappointed that I'm not this strong, like, hood, you know, like, really masculine.
Men are constantly judging women, and kind of, that's the reason why women are always striving to look a certain way to please men. And in the gay community, it's the same thing. It's gay men judging other gay men.
