Oh, hey! I'm so glad you could come over. It's not, uh, every day that I would invite my boss over to my house.
But I just kind of wanted to talk to you in a non-work environment, you know? Just something a little more relaxed and, you know, chill.
So, you know that, uh, there's a promotion that is coming up in my department, and I wanted to kind of talk to you about that.
I know I'm a really good candidate, and I work really hard, and I think I'd be perfect if you would consider me for it.
