The results went about what I expected.

Miu won fairly handily, getting two animations, while the other two get one a piece. Eva being a part of the poll is kind of good timing on my part, actually, seeing as how we just got a Code Vein 2 announcement. Funny how that works, sometimes.

But anyway, not a lot to talk about in terms of the poll. Just gonna give a little update on animation status and what not. I've more or less been 'on break' for the past week. Haven't really blended anything. Just haven't really felt the 'spark' as of late. It's not for a lack of ideas, either. If anything, I've got too many ideas. I've got a lot of characters I'd like to work with, but I want to do 'big sets' with them, and that kind of sets up a road block for me. Because it takes a while to do the bigger sets, and so I don't know who to devote time to. It leads to a 'decision paralysis'. I'm just not sure what I want to do of my many ideas, and so I haven't really started on anything. So, I thnk what I'm gonna do is just do a bunch of random, small stuff. Kinda go back to my 'roots' and just pick some random characters, do a couple animations with them, and release them as is. Some will be one-offs, some may lead to a bigger set down the road. Will just depend. So yeah, for now, there won't be any big, devoted sets for a bit. Just some small things until I can get catch a spark. That will probably result in some more frequent releases for a bit. Hopefully. x)

I mentioned at the end of 2023/start of 2024 that I was gonna do some Kanna. Well, it only took a year and a half to get there. Better late than never, I say. I did have some finished from back then, but I've done some small updates to them. Namely to adjust the scene and what not, since I went for a different part of the Venus Vacation beach compared to the beach I always use, but that was about it for the older ones. I had started on the 'big animation' of this set back then too, but I scrapped what I had because it was just a mess working with something like that. It's kind of like getting half-way through an RPG, taking a 'break'(a year long one) and coming back to your save going 'okay, what was I doing?' and aimlessly faffing about until you just decide to do a fresh restart. 

That said, I would have liked to do a little more than this with her, but after that big animation, my brain was just like 'alright, you're done. Pack it up'. So, I did. No clue what I'll be doing next at this point; will be posting the poll tomorrow/day-after-tomorrow, along with a very small animation pack. After that, I'll be on a small 'refresh' to try to come up with something new. I'll try to keep you all informed of when I start on something, at least. Don't like to keep people waiting.

Just the poll animations releasing today. I've been a combination of lazy and under-the-weather, so the next set has been delayed some. It's a decent ways along, but still needs more time in the oven. Should drop next week, at least. It's a bit akin to clearing out my backlog with this release. Likewise, the next poll selection thing like Lulu/Nayo will be a smaller set, just to accomodate my procrastination. But yeah, that's about all I got for now. Still gotta rig up some of the poll characters, so can't really preview that either right now. Should have everything ready to go soon, though.

This wasn't even really a contest.

Reika wins by a huge margin. Almost triple that of either of the other two. As expected(at least by me). Reika's popularity in VV is really high, and that's mostly translated to the results of my polls, and it was the case indeed. Still, everyone crossed the minimum threshold once again, so everyone gets something. I will also be doing something a little different this time. I started on the animations Monday, and I finished the five Tuesday. So, uh... I'm doing double to match the last two of my 'personal picks'(Lulu and Nayo), since I've got the time. Probably won't happen each time, but just doing it while I feel like it. Since I still haven't fully decided on who to animate next. Got too many ideas bouncing around that I've been toying with, but nothing has really stuck. Still, I'll leave you with this:
